Fresh New Artists have arrived!

It's fascinating to see just how many talented artists are out there just waiting to be found! Some come to the Gallery looking for representation and others are found by going to national art shows or through artists we already represent.

This summer I received a visit from a MN sculptor, Roy Abbott. I really liked his work and especially liked his use of wood and metal for his work. His work has a softness to it and very clean lines. One of his pieces was recently used in a photo shoot for a high end kitchen remodel project. A photo of the piece was featured in Kitchen Trends Magazine!

A few months later Roy's wife Carolyn came in and mentioned she was also an artist. When she showed me her work there was no turning back! I fell in love! She uses layers of organza for her surface to paint and attach papers. They hang freely on a single bracket attached to the wall. The way the light filters through each layer is fascinating, not to mention the added effect with the imagery shown on the wall behind.

We couldn't be happier to have them in both our Minneapolis and Edina galleries! Stop in to see them...while they last that is.

Enjoy!
Janella
